Life is weird right now… I don’t know about you, but I feel like it’s one step forward and two steps back… and that’s on a good day!
On this hump day (do people still say that?) I feel reflective. I guess it has something to do with the time of year. As the leaves turn, another Christmas looming, it’s hard to feel at ease.
I guess it’s just the normal, thoughtful scrutiny that we adults put ourselves through. But, it leads me to this question:
Are you in love?
In love with the life that you are living!?
Since my stroke, four years ago, one thing that has kept me going is my passion for writing and my belief that we all have a 2.0 in us. It's not just a recovery tactic, or voodoo jargon; it's a deep-seated part of who I am.
I believe in the power of passion-based therapy and the incredible healing power of pursuing what truly sets your soul on fire.
Passion-Based Therapy is about pursuing your deepest passions, those things that make you feel alive and inspired. It's not a luxury; it's a necessity. Here are a few reasons why I believe everyone (stroke or not!) should embrace their passions:
Healing Powers
Pursuing your passions can be a powerful tool for curing yourself - emotionally or physically. It can help you overcome challenges and give you a sense of purpose during hard times.
Happy Powers
Engaging in what you're truly passionate about brings joy and fulfilment, a path leading to a life filled with meaning and contentment.
Growth Powers
Exploring your passions often leads to personal growth and self-discovery – an opportunity to learn more about yourself… and what you’re capable of.
Connective Powers
Sharing your passions can connect you with like-minded individuals and build a supportive community around common interests.
So, go on, what truly ignites your spirit? And if you don’t know, tell me. It’s time that you found your passion!!
